For the Spring 2016 Campaign, Barneys New York collaborated with Juergen Teller and supermodel Karlie Kloss to with a speedy photoshoot for the latest campaign. The door worked run-and-gun style shooting the campaign in Miami during Art Basel, in just a few hours.  Teller captured Kloss guerrilla style wearing looks from The Row, Prabal Gurung, Gabriella Hearst, and Manolo Blahnik among other notable brands.

“The shoot was right at the center point of where fashion and art overlap,” says Karli Kloss. “Juergen lives in that center point every day.”

“[The experience] was pretty surreal,” says Kloss. “We were driving in a van around the city, which was very crowded because of the fair, running out to do shots, with me changing in the back. It was definitely one of those moments where I go, ‘I can’t believe this is my job!’”

The Barneys New York Spring 2016 campaign reunites the pair who have not worked together since Kloss’ first major campaign back in 2008, for Marc Jacobs’ Lola perfume. Teller, for his part, immediately knew that Kloss was the right model for the Spring 2016 campaign.

“I was like, Karlie would be perfect,’” says Juergen Teller. “An American sporty supermodel—that was the key for this because Miami is a muscled, sport environment.”
