Berger & Wild
Project that Impressed Us
While Berger & Wild is known for their editorial work for WSJ and founding The Last Magazine, what impressed us about creative directors Magnus Berger and Tenzin Wild’s work was the upscaling of premium denim brand AG. The design duo took the reins in Fall of 2014, shortly after the house dropped the longer logo “Adriano Goldschmied.” Rather than pivot the brand from their course, the duo revealed it by infusing a more natural, sophisticated, and romantic tone to the creative, immediately reflected in the coloring and saturation of the print campaign. The moody romanticism has been a page stopper and they have consecutively made The Impression’s Top 10 Denim Ads list for the past two seasons.
