Massimiliano Giornetti Departs Salvatore Ferragamo as Creative Director
Salvatore Ferragamo is parting ways with Creative Director Massimiliano Giornetti. Giornetti joined Salvatore Ferragamo Group as a knitwear designer in the men’s department in 2000 becoming Creative Director for Men’s in 2004. He presented his first women’s collection of the house in 2011. His duties will be taken over by members of the design team.
Brioni Names Justin O’Shea as Creative Director
Justin O’Shea has been appointed Creative Director of Italian menswear brand Brioni. O’Shea comes from dotcom retailer, MyTheresa, a subsidiary of Neiman Marcus Group, where he served as Global Fashion Director. Before joining Mytheresa.com in 2001, the Australian native worked as a buyer at Kuwait luxury retailer, Al Ostoura, which operates 40 stores.
Dave Dombrow Joins Nike
Dave Dombrow is departing Under Armour as SVP of Design, Footwear, and Accessories at Under Armour to join Nike in a yet to be announced role. Dombrow previously worked in design at Nike for three years from 2000 to 2003. Prior to joining Under Armour in 2010, Dombrow spent seven years at Puma in various design roles.
Bernard Fornas to Retire as Co-CEO of Richemont
Co-CEO of Richemont since 2013, Bernard Fornas, will retire at the end of this month. Fornas will continue to serve on the firms board of directors as a non-executive member but will step down from his duties on Richemont’s senior executive committee and the group management committee. Fornas was previously CEO for Cartier.
House of Fraser Names Maria Hollis Exec Dir. of Buying and Design
British retailer House of Fraser has appointed Maria Hollis as Executive Director of Buying and Design. Hollis was previously the Global Product and Training Director at Asos. Prior to that she held various positions at Arcadia Group and Whistles.
Dorothy Maxwell Named Head of Sustainability at House of Fraser
House of Fraser has named Dr. Dorothy Maxwell in the newly created role of Head of Sustainability. Dr. Maxwell is the Founding Director of The Sustainable Business Group and has worked with Nike and John Smedley on environmental and sustainability initiatives. She has served as a special advisor to The Prince’s Charities, governments and NGOs.
McArthurGlen Taps Susannah Bosanquet as Dir. Communications and PR
London based designer outlet group McArthurGlen has named Susannah Bosanquet as Director of Communications and PR. Bosanquet was previously Founder of Boz2Counsulting based in Milan, a firm she founded in 2000 after spending three years as European Communications Director for Calvin Klein.
John Lewis Names Keith Williams Deputy Chairman
British retailer John Lewis has tapped Keith Williams as non-executive Deputy Chairman. Williams previously served as Chairman of British Airways a firm he joined in 1998. He joined the John Lewis board as a non-executive Director in 2014.
VF Corp. Names Scott H. Baxter Group President, Outdoor and Action Sports
Greensboro, North Carolina based VF Corp., owners of Nautica, Lee, Vans, Timberland, The North Face and others, has named Scott H. Baxter to the position of VP, VF Corporation & Group President, Outdoor & Action Sports Americas. Baxter, a nine-year veteran of VF, previously was Vice President, VF Corporation & Group President, Jeanswear Americas, Imagewear & South America.
Phil McAdams Appointed President of VF Corp. Jeanswear
Phil McAdams, a 38-year veteran in VF’s jeanswear business, has been named President of the Jeanswear, Americas, coalition, which includes the Wrangler and Lee brands.
Nordstrom taps Kumar Srinivasan as Chief Technology Officer
Seattle based retainer Nordstrom, has named Kumar Srinivasan as Chief Technology Officer. Srinivasan, was previously Co-founder and CEO of consumer engagement platform Evocalize. Prior to that Srinivasan has held various technology roles at Amazon, Travelocity, Blockbuster, and Walmart.

Annica Litavis, previously PR intern at Vince, is now PR Assistant at the firm.
Aboud Creative Changes to ABOUD + ABOUD, Grey London Retains as Client
Alan Aboud led agency Aboud Creative, who for the last 26 years served as the agency of record for Paul Smith as well as earning clients such as Levi’s and Zara, is changing its name to ABOUD + ABOUD. Grey London has retained Aboud as the Creative Director of their Fragrances brands which include Hugo Boss, Lacoste, James Bond, Bruno Banani and Mexx.

Chief Revenue Officer Richard Beckman Parts Ways with Vice Media
Richard Beckman, who joined Brooklyn-based Vice Media last May as Chief Revenue Officer is leaving the firm. Previously Beckman was CEO of branded production firm Three Lions Entertainment who produced “Fashion Rocks,” TV show which aired on CBS. Prior to that Beckman served as CEO of Prometheus Media, owner of The Billboard and Hollywood Reporter. Earlier Beckman held various roles at Condé Nast Media Group including Publisher at Vogue, CEO of Fairchild Fashion Media, and President of Condé Nast Media Group.
Wendell Brown Moves to The Daily Beast
After 11 years at Esquire, Wendell Brown is departing for The Daily Beast in a yet to be announced role. Brown was previously the Senior Fashion Editor at Esquire. Prior to that Brown worked as a Senior Fashion Editor at Harper’s Bazaar. He also served as an Associate Fashion Editor at WWD and now defunct men’s publication DNR.
Stacy Bettman, previously Associate Publisher at Allure, is now Associate Publisher of Advertising at Marie Claire.
Anne-Marie Guarnieri, previously Deputy Beauty Editor at Refinery29, is now Deputy Beauty Director at Harper’s Bazaar.
Nadine McCarthy, previously Director of Photography at Allure, is now Photography and Bookings Director at Harper’s Bazaar.
Lori Keong, previously Fashion Assistant at New York Magazine, is now Assistant Digital Editor at MarieClaire.com.
Tyler Coates, previously Deputy Editor at the New York Post’s Decider.com, is now Culture Editor at Esquire.com.
