Kevin Carrigan Departs Calvin Klein
After 18 years with the firm, Global Creative Director, Kevin Carrigan, has resigned from his position. Carrigan was responsible for CK Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Jeans, and Calvin Klein White Label. Carrigan joined Calvin Klein in 1998 after having worked at Nicole Farhi and Max Mara in London.
Calvin Klein Taps Pieter Mulier Creative Director
Pieter Mulier has joined Calvin Klein Inc. as Creative Director. Muller will be responsible for creative and design vision for women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, as well as managing all men’s and women’s design teams within the Calvin Klein brand. Prior to Calvin Klein, Mulier served as Head Designer of Accessories for Men and Women at Jil Sander.
Philip Corne Departs Louis Vuitton Oceania
Louis Vuitton Oceania CEO, Philip Corne, has stepped down after 28 years with the firm. Corne will remain Non-Executive Director of Louis Vuitton Australia and is also on the boards of 2XU, Seafolly, and RM Williams. Corne has taken the position of Executive Chairman of L Catterton Australia.
Helen David Tapped Harrods Chief Merchant
Helen David has been named to Chief Merchant at Harrods. David was previously Fashion Director of women’s wear, accessories, fine jewelry and children’s wear, overseeing buying teams responsible for the firm. Prior to Harrods, she served as a buyer for Net-a-porter.com and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Vans Promotes Doug Palladini to Global Brand President
Well known skate brand, Vans, has promoted Doug Palladini to Global Brand President. In his new position, Palladini will be responsible for leading and managing the global strategic direction. Prior to Vans, Palladini served as COO at Swell.
Bill Besselman Departs Under Armour
Formerly VP of Connected Fitness Strategy and Integration at Under Armour, Bill Besselman, has left the firm. Thread International has named Besselman EVP to lead the development of its growing business. In his new position, Besselman will oversee all marketing and sales. Prior to Under Armour, Besselman served as SVP at American Eagle Outfitters.
Karin Gregersen McLennan Named President of Zimmerman
Australian fashion and swim brand Zimmerman has tapped Karin Gregersen McLennan as President. Previously McLennan served as President and CEO at Vince from 2013 to 2015. Prior to Vince, she was Managing Director of Chloé/Richemont North America, responsible for Chloé and See by Chloé in the U.S., Canada and South America.
Joyce Azria, previously Creative Director at BCBGeneration, is now Founder of Avec Les Filles.
Abigail Kalicka, previously Senior Fashion Market Editor at Cosmopolitan and Seventeen, is now Fashion Director, ready-to-wear at Bloomingdale’s.
Jillian Borde, previously PR Coordinator at Tommy Hilfiger, has left the company.
Carly Rappoport, previously Senior Account Executive at Jonesworks, is now PR Associate at Bonobos.
Anne Sachs, previously Executive Digital Director at Glamour, is now Interim Site Director at Vogue.com.
