Adidas Taps Kasper Rorsted as CEO
Kasper Rorsted has been appointed CEO of German-based sporting house, Adidas, and will join the company’s board in August and take on the CEO role in October. Rorsted will succeed Herbert Hainer, who has been with the company since 2001. Previously, Rorsted was CEO of Düsseldorf-based consumer goods firm, Henkel AG & Co.
Carolina Herrera Names Cyrille d’Estienne d’Orves as VP of Inter. Business Dev.
Cyrille d’Estienne d’Orves has been appointed VP of International Business Development at Carolina Herrera, to be based in Paris. Previously, D’Estienne d’Orves was General Manager for Stuart Weitzman in Paris and held various roles at Hédiard, Lance and L’Oreal.
Mytheresa Promotes Justin O’Shea to Global Fashion Director
Global Buying Director at Munich-based luxury e-commerce site Mytheresa.com, Justin O’Shea, has been promoted to Global Fashion Director.
Heidi Hoelzer Named Global Buying Director at Mytheresa.com
Heidi Hoelzer is joining Mytheresa.com as Global Buying Director for both the site and the flagship store, Theresa. Hoelzer was previously the VP/GMM of US-based contemporary retailer Scoop, where she joined 10 years ago. Prior to that, she held various roles at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Veronique Gabai-Pinsky Named Vera Wang President
Vera Wang Group has appointed Veronique Gabai-Pinsky as President. Gabai-Pinsky was previously with Estée Lauder, where she was President of the Aramis & Designer Fragrances division until 2014.

Barbara Cook Named CEO of Miansai
US-based jeweler, Miansai, has tapped Barbara Cook as their new CEO. Cook was previously President of Hudson Jeans for three years. Prior to that, she held various roles at Wet Seal, Gap, T-Mobile, Starbucks and Marks and Spencer.
Warehouse Names Kate Walmsley as Customer Director
Currently Digital Director at Topshop, Kate Walmsley will be joining British high street brand Warehouse as Customer Director. Walmsley joined Topshop seven years ago as the Head of E-Commerce and was previously with media agency AKQA.
Valérie Duport, previously Head of Global PR at Chanel, will join Kering’s communications department.
Cliff Fleiser, previously Worldwide Advertising and North American PR Director at Tom Ford, is now VP of Marketing and Communications at The Points Guy.

Grace Coddington Steps Down as Creative Director at US Vogue
Industry icon Grace Coddington, who joined US Vogue in 1988, is stepping down from her role as Creative Director. Coddington will continue on as Creative Director-at-Large as she pursues projects outside of Vogue. A successor has not yet been named.
Edward Enninful, previously Fashion and Style Director at W magazine, is now Creative Fashion Director.
Cian Browne, previously Art Director at V magazine and VMAN, is now Art Director at W magazine.
Grace Fuller, previously Jewelry Editor at Vogue, is now Jewelry Editor at W magazine.
Shilpa Prabhakar Nadella, previously Fashion Market Editor at ELLE, is now Senior Market Editor for the U.S. at Glamour.
