Gabriella Forte Steps Down as David Yurman CEO
After serving as the CEO of fine jewelry company David Yurman Inc. for two years, Gabriella Forte is stepping down. Forte helped lead the family-owned company into the international market, and reported to cofounders David and Sybil Yurman. Previously, Forte was the General Manager for Beauty at Dolce & Gabbana and was the President of Dolce & Gabbana USA. Prior to that, Forte was CEO of and before that she was Chief Commanding Officer for Calvin Klein. Chairman and Founder David Yurman will serve as interim CEO.

Max Azria Joins ZappLight as CEO and Partner
The Founder and Former CEO of BCBG Max Azria has joined LA-based tech start-up ZappLight as their Partner and Chief Executive Officer. ZappLight is owned by Clean Concept LLC and produces combination LED lights and bug deterrent. This is Azria’s first title since leaving BCBG Max Azria last year where he acted as CEO since the company’s start in 1989.

LVMH Names Kelly McCarthy SVP Digital
Kelly McCarthy has joined LVMH as Senior Vice President of Digital Communications. McCarthy joins from Nike, where she was Senior Director of Global Digital Strategy and Brand Partnerships since 2014. Prior to that, McCarthy spent three years at digital agency VaynerMedia.  She has held various roles at Ruder Finn, Bite Communications, and Manning Selvage & Lee.

Michael Fung Departs Neiman Marcus as Interim CFO and COO
Fung, who came out of retirment in November to temporarily fill Neiman Marcus’ Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer positions, has now left the company. Fung previously acted as the Director of 99 Cents Only Stores, and had also served as Walmart’s SVP and CFO. Long time Neiman Marcus Executive Dale Stapleton is set to succeed him.

Neiman Marcus Appoints Dale Stapleton as Interim CFO and COO
Stapleton, who has worked in leadership positions at Neiman Marcus since 2001, will now serve as Interim CFO and COO. Previously, Stapleton acted as Neiman Marcus’ SVP and Chief Accounting Officer for seven years and prior to that, he was a VP and Controller for nine years. Before his time at the department store giant, Stapleton worked at CompUSA and Ernst and Young.

Macy’s Promotes Yasir Anwar to Chief Technology Officer
Yasir Anwar has been promoted to EVP and Chief Technology Officer of Macy’s Inc. overseeing all technology functions for Macy’s. Anwar joined as VP Engineering in 2012 rising to Sr. V Digital Technology.

Lee Jeans Taps Chris Waldeck as President
Chris Waldeck has been named the new President of Lee Jeans and Rock & Republic, succeeding Joseph Dzialo who retired last year. Waldeck joins from Reebok International where he was VP and General Manager. Prior to that, Waldeck worked as Brand Director for both the US and Korean branches of Reebok. Before his time at the global footwear label, Waldeck was the VP of Marketing for Cramer Products.

The Akola Project Names Vincent Chin as Chief Administrative Officer
Vincent Chin has been tapped to lead all operational affairs for non-profit jewelry company The Akola Project. Chin joins from Ralph Lauren where acted as the Senior Director of Finance and Operations for over five years. Prior to that, he worked managing large-scale financial operations for companies such as Walmart, Disney Consumer Products, and Disney Publishing Worldwide.

Lisa Bourne has joined The Akola Project as the Vice President of E-Commerce, where she will report to new CAO Vincent Chin. Previously, Bourne was Merchandise Manager for Global E-Commerce and Brand Strategy at Fossil, and before that she managed over 100 women’s apparel vendors at Amazon. Prior to these positions, Bourne worked in managerial positions at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.

Reebok Appoints Chris Froio as General Manager of Reebok America
Chris Froio, who has over 25 years experience with the athletic apparel company, has been selected to be the new General Manager of Reebok America. Previously, Froio was the Brand Director for Reebok Western Europe for two years, and prior to that he held many titles at Reebok including VP of Fitness and Training, VP of Sport Footwear and Equipment, and National Sales Manager for Footlocker Operations. Froio will be moving to Boston from Herzogenaurach, Germanys take on his new position.

Effective on January 1st, 2018 Yves Müller will serve as the CFO for Huge Boss. Müller joins from coffee company Tchibo where he was Financial Chief on the Management Board for 11 years. Müller takes over the CFO positions after his predecessor Mark Langer was promoted to CEO of Hugo Boss last year.

Gigi Ganatra Duff Joins Nordstrom as VP of Public Relations
Nordstrom has selected Gigi Ganatra Duff to be their Vice President of Public Relations and Corporate Affairs, succeeding Brooke White who retired last year. Duff joins from real estate development firm Lionheart Captial where she was Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to that, Duff was VP of Communications at HSN Inc.
