La Perla Appoints Julia Haart Creative Director
Italian intimates house, La Perla has named Julia Haart as Creative Director. Heart, designs her own namesake footwear collection and partnered with outgoing La Perla Creative Director Pedro Lourenço on La Perla’s spring and fall accessories collections. Haart will debut a women’s ready-to-wear collection during the Spring/Summer 2017 season.

Michael W. Kramer Named as Forever 21 CFO
California based Forever 21 has appointed Michael W. Kramer as CFO, succeeding Elizabeth Jain. Kramer was previously COO at J.C. Penney. Prior to that he had been President and CEO  of Kellwood Company, overseeing fashion brands, including Scotch & Soda, Vince, Rebecca Taylor, Adam, BLK DNM, among many others. Prior to that, he was EVP and CFO at Abercrombie & Fitch. From 2000 to 2005, he was at Apple, Inc., where, as CFO of Apple Retail.

Andrew Cooper Named President Sequential Brands
Sequential Brands Group Inc., owners of Martha Stewart, Joe’s, Jessica Simpson, Ellen Tracey, and others has appointed Andrew Cooper as President of the brand management firm. Most recently Cooper served as a partner of Pegasus Capital Advisors and CEO of Universal Lubricants, a portfolio company of Pegasus Capital. He also served as SVP at Priceline.com. Cooper will report to Sequential Brands Group Inc. CEO, Yehuda Shmidman.

Tony Wester tapped as CEO WeSC
Tony Wester has been appointed CEO of Swedish street fashion brand WeSC. Wester previously was CEO of Gant Sweden and succeeds Johan Heijbel, who will remain with the company as a board member.

Claude-Alain Descamps Named Marie France Van Damme VIP Manager
Hong Kong based swimwear brand Marie France Van Damme has named Claude-Alain Descamps as VIP Relations Manager. Descamps was previously VIP Manager at Munich based MyTheresa and prior to that held various roles at Dolce & Gabbana, Azzaro, and Christopher Kane. Decamps will be based in Hong Kong.

Danielle Goodman, previously Director of Communications at Misha NoNoo, is now Director of Communications at Sachin & Babi.

Lily Salembier, previously Senior Account Manager at Karla Otto, is now Senior PR and Marketing Manager at Adam Lippes.

Artemis Azima, previously Senior Manager, Global Communications at Oscar de la Renta, is now PR Director, Americas, at Sergio Rossi.

Rebecca Contos, previously Public Relations freelancer at Prada, is now PR Assistant at Etro.

InStyle has tapped Laura Brown as Editor-in-Chief succeeding Ariel Foxman, who left the publication in July. Brown was previously Executive Editor, Special Projects at Harper’s Bazaar. Prior to joining Harper’s Bazaar, Brown held the position of Articles Director at Details magazine as well as W magazine’s Senior Editor.

After two years at the helm, Michelle Tan has parted ways with Hearst owned Seventeen as Editor-in-Chief. Prior to joining Seventeen, Tan previously Special Projects Editor of People.

Jennifer Csengody-Novetsky, previously Executive Assistant to Linda Fargo, is now Senior Accessories Editor at Harper’s Bazaar.

Reid Myers, previously Communications Manager at InStyle and StyleWatch, is now Senior Communications Manager.

Jane Keltner de Valle, previously Fashion News Director at Glamour, is now Style Director at Architectural Digest.

Central Saint Martins Promotes Sarah Gresty to Lead BA
London based Central Saint Martins has promoted Sarah Gresty to succeed Willie Walters in leading the  BA fashion course. Gresty joined CSM as an associate lecturer in 1998, becoming Pathway Leader of Fashion Design with Knitwear in September 2006. Gresty trained as a designer at Brighton College of Art.
