Uniqlo Appoints Christophe Lemaire Artistic Director
Uniqlo has appointed Christophe Lemaire Artistic Director of Uniqlo Paris R&D Centre. Lemaire will continue to design his namesake label while designing a new Uniqlo U collection which will be unveiled during Paris couture week in July. Previously, Lemaire left his position as Creative Director at Hermes last summer to focus on his eponymous line.
Dirk Bikkembergs Taps Lee Wood Creative Director
Dirk Bikkembergs has named Lee Wood as Creative Director. Previously, Wood was Creative Director of his own line, L72. Prior to that, he held various positions at Versace.
Commit Colbert Elects Guillaume de Seynes as Chairman
France’s luxury trade association Comité Colbert has elected Guillaume de Seynes as Chairman. De Seynes, is EVP of Equity Investments at Hermès International, and succeeds Michel Bernardaud, CEO of Bernardaud. The role of Chairman at Comité Colbert is for a four year term.
Burberry COO John Smith Departs
John Smith is departing as COO of Burberry a role he had since 2013. Smith had previously been a non-executive director at Burberry since 2009. Perviously Smith was CEO of BBC Worldwide from 2004 to 2012. Smith joined the BBC in 1989, where he held the positions of Chief Operating Officer, Director of Finance, Property & Business Affairs and Finance Director. He previously served as a non-executive director of Severn Trent plc and Vickers PLC, and on the Accounting Standards Board from 2001 to 2004.
Tomoko Ogura Departs as Sr. Fashion Director Barneys
Barneys New York’s Senior Fashion Director Tomoko Ogura has exited after nearly four years. Ogura joined Barneys New York in 2005 as a Fashion Merchandising Assistant.
Marie-Laure Vaganay Departs as Communications Director at Kering
Communications Director at Kering Americas, Marie-Laure Vaganay, has left the company. Vaganay joined Kerning Americas in 2014 from Procter & Gamble France where she held various communications roles since 1997.

Ralph Lauren has named Jane Hamilton Nielsen as CFO. Nielsen was previously at Coach where she served as EVP CFO. Prior to that, she was CFO of PepsiCo Beverages Americas.
Cath Kidston Departs Eponymous Brand
After two decades, Cath Kidston has left her role as Non-Executive Director of her own lifestyle brand. Her departure comes two years after she stepped down as Chief Creative Designer.

Gianluca Brozzetti will step down from the board of Jimmy Choo. Brozzetti wants to dedicate more time to his executive assignments. Brozzetti is currently the CEO of the Italian jeweler, Buccellati. Previously, he was also the CEO of Roberto Cavalli Group.

Under Armour has named Dave Dombrow CCO. Dombrow was previously Under Armour’s SVP Design Creative Footwear and Accessories. Prior to that, Dombrow held various positions at Puma.

Jeffrey Kuster has been named Group President for the Americas. Kuster was previously President of HSN Inc.’s cornerstone portfolio. Prior to that, he served as EVP at Fruit of the Loom.
