President of Chanel’s watch and jewelry division, Philippe Mougenot, will retire from the house at the end of June to spend more time with his family. Mougenot joined Chanel in 1999 as President of the watch and jewelry division and is widely credited for growing the categories of the house.

Miami-based Perry Ellis International has appointed Lisa Z. Kauffman as EVP and Chief Marketing Officer. Kauffman was most recently CMO of Royal Caribbean’s Celebrity Cruises for the past five years. Prior to that she held various marketing roles at Macy’s Florida and The Walt Disney Co. consumer products division. Kauffman began her career in buying at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Kering Taps Béatrice Lazat as SVP Human Resources
Luxury conglomerate Kering has named Béatrice Lazat as Human Resources Director. Lazat was previously HR Director Asia Pacific for L’Oreal and prior to that held various HR roles at Cartier and Christofle. Lazat will report to Managing Director of Kering, Jean-François Palus, and will be a member of the group’s executive committee.

New York-based design house Michael Kors has appointed Scott Zalaznik SVP of Digital and E-commerce. Zalaznik was previously Head of Global Retail for mobile ad-tech firm xAd. Prior to that Zalaznik spent 15 years at Sprint, running digital marketing in the last two.

London-based design house, Jimmy Choo, has appointed Tanya Golesic as U.S. President of subsidiary, J Choo USA Inc. Golesic will be based in New York and oversee U.S. and Canada operations. She will report to London-based CEO, Pierre Denis. Golesic previously was Chief Commercial Officer at Canada Goose. Prior to that she was SVP Global Sales and Planning at Marc Jacobs and held various roles at Jones Group and Ralph Lauren Corp.

Aeffe Promotes Carlo Mengucci to Head of Worldwide PR
Aeffe Group, owners of Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, Pollini, and Emanuel Ungaro by Fausto Puglisi, have promoted Carlo Mengucci to Worldwide Communications and PR Director after 6 years with the firm. Mengucci joined the company in 2010 from Roberto Cavalli, where he spent five years as PR Manager.
