Cristiano Quieti steps Down as CEO of John Varvatos
Cristiano Quieti is stepping down from his role as CEO of John Varvatos, a position he held since February 2013. Previously, Quieti spent 18 years at Diesel USA, where he served as CEO.
Iceberg appoints James Long as Creative Director
James Long has been named Creative Director of Italian fashion house, Iceberg’s menswear line. The London-based designer’s Autumn/Winter 2016 collection will be unveiled at Milan Fashion Week in January 2016. Long will continue showing his namesake menswear line, which he launched in 2008.
Charlotte David Joins Hermès as EVP Communications
Hermès has named Charlotte David as Executive VP of Communication as well as a member of the Hermès International executive committee. Prior to joining Hermès, David served as General Manager and Head of Development at various communication agencies such as BETC, Mcann-Erickson, VCCP and Mother.
Laura Kaplan promoted to President of Paul Andrew
NY luxury accessory design house, Paul Andrew, has promoted Laura Kaplan to the role of President. Kaplan joined the firm in 2014 serving as VP of Merchandising and Sales. Prior to Paul Andrew, Kaplan held various merchandising and sales roles at AllSaints, Ralph Lauren, and Gucci.
Eric Shaughnessy, previously SVP at Concept One, is now SVP Sales at Eyeking.
Connor Reilly, previously PR Manager, womenswear at Calvin Klein Inc., is now Sr. Manager, PR at Giorgio Armani.
Claire Buxton, previously PR Manager at Redken/Pureology, is now Director of PR at Maybelline.
Stacy Pinkas, previously Head of Media Marketing at Swatch, is now Communications Director in the US and Canada at Raymond Weil.
Alex Paige, previously PR Coordinator at Lanvin, is now PR Manager in the U.S.
Tom Ford to show his first men’s runway show in London
Tom Ford will be showing his Autumn/Winter 2016 collection as part of the official London Collections Menswear calendar on Monday, January 11, at 6:30pm. The show will mark the final slot of the London Men’s Collection’s shows and the first men’s fashion show for the house of Tom Ford.
Gucci moves cruise show to London
The house of Gucci, whose Creative Director Alessandro Michele moved their Resort 2016 show to New York this year, has announced they relocate their upcoming cruise show to an undetermined location in London.
Linda Wells Steps Down as Editor-in-Chief at Allure
After 25 years, Linda Wells, the founding editor of Allure magazine, is stepping down from her role. Wells will remain on the Allure masthead as its Founding Editor and will transition to an unspecified advisory role at Condé Nast publications.
Michelle Lee Named Editor-in-Chief at Allure
A week after leaving her post as Editor-in-Chief and CMO at Nylon Magazine, Michelle Lee has joined Condé Nast as Editor-in-Chief of Allure magazine.
Style.com taps Yasmin Sewell as Fashion Director
Condé Nast owned e-commerce business, Style.com, has named Yasmin Sewell as Fashion Director. Sewell comes from her own consulting agency which she founded in 2008. Her clients roster included Hermés, Mulberry, Liberty of London, Maje and others. Prior to her consultancy, Sewell was Buying Director at Browns in London.
Teen Vogue Publisher Jason Wagenheim Exits
Jason Wagenheim, Publisher at Teen Vogue, is leaving the company after four years. Conde Nast’s Chief Revenue Officer and Publisher of Vogue, Susan Plagemann will replace Wagenheim. Teen Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief, Amy Astley will report to Artistic Director Anna Wintour, who will continue to oversee editorial operations with her.
Emily Holt, previously Fashion News Editor at Vogue, is now Creative Director in residence at Fab.
Friquette Thévenet-Mondino, previously Fashion Editor-in-Chief at French ELLE, has left the company.
Lavinel Savu, previously Assistant Managing Editor at InStyle, is now Executive Managing Editor.

Jo Levin joins The Communication Store as Consultant Creative Director. She will work with Julietta Dexter, founder of TCS and Director Daniel Marks across the PR agency’s client portfolio. Prior, Levin served as Fashion Director at British GQ for nearly 24 years before stepping down from the role in October.
