Dame Natalie Massenet Joins Farfetch as Non-Executive Co-Chairman
Founder of the Net-A-Porter Group and Chairman of the British Fashion Council, Dame Natalie Massenet, is joining The Farfetch Group as non-executive Co-Chairman. Farfetch currently partners directly with over 750 designers and fashion boutiques across 40 countries. Massenet founded Net-A-Porter.com, in 2000, building the company into The Net-A-Porter Group with TheOutnet.com, MrPorter.com Porter Magazine and the social shopping platform the Netset. She began her career as a journalist and fashion editor, working at WWD and Tatler. In 2009, Natalie was awarded an MBE, and in 2016 she was made a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Massenet has been Chairman of the British Fashion Council since 2013, and was appointed a UK DTI Business Ambassador in March 2016.
CEO Gianluca Flore Exits Brioni
After two years at the helm, CEO Gianluca Flore is parting ways with Brioni. Flore joined Brioni from Kering whoe he joined in 2008 in the role of President of the Americas region for Bottega Veneta. He was later appointed CEO of the Asian Pacific region. Before joining the Kering Group, Gianluca Flore was President of Fendi Americas, from 2004 to 2008. From 1998 to 2004 he was President of La Perla North America. Prior to that, he was an auditor and financial adviser at Arthur Andersen.
Luella Bartley Joins Calvin Klein Jeans as Head Designer
Calvin Klein Jeans has tapped formed Marc by Marc Jacobs Women’s Design Director Luella Bartley as Head of Global Design. Bartley, who along with Creative Director Katie Hillier, left Marc by Marc Jacobs when the firm shuttered the label in 2015. Together the design du founded the Hillier Bartley label.
Bon-Ton Taps Russ Hardin as VP of Creative
Christensen Hardin, owner and creative director at ChristensenHardin, is now VP of Creative at The Bon-Ton Stores. Hardin previously served as SVP Chief Creative Officer at Hudson Bay Company. Prior to that he was VP Creative Branding at Kohl’s.
Pitti Immagine Taps Claudio Marenzi as President
Florence-based trade show organizer Pitti Immagine has appointed Claudio Marenzi as President. Marenzi was previously CEO of Italian outerwear company Herno as well as President of fashion industry association Sistema Moda Italia, a role he will maintain.
Andrea Cavicchi, President of the Florence Center for Italian Fashion, is now VPof Pitti Immagine.
Laird + Partners Names Patrick Yee CEO
Creative agency Laird + Partners has appointed Patrick Yee as CEO with Founder and Current CEO Trey Laird, transitioning to Chief Creative Officer and Chairman. Yee most recently served as EVP of Marketing at Strategy at Refinery29 and will also oversee the launch of a newly formed agency spin-off focused on content development, AIR + Partners. Yee spent eight years at Refinery29 helping the firm to grow from 10 employees to over 450. Prior to that Yee launched Shop Flick and Rocket Excel. Be began his career at Wasserstein Perella and Soros Fund Management.
Interview Magazine Taps Nick Haramis as Editor-in-Chief
Nick Haramis has been named Editor-in-Chief of Interview reporting to Editorial Director Fabien Baron, and Creative Director Karl Templer. Haramis joins Interview from T: The New York Times Styles Magazine where he has been the Articles Editor since joining the organization in 2013. Prior to that Haamis was with Bullett Magazine as Editorial Director and Executive Editor of Blackbook.
Harper’s Bazaar US Names Christopher Tennant Executive Editor
Christopher Tennant is joining Harper’s Bazaar US in the role of Executive Editor reporting to EIC Glenda Bailey. Tennant most recently served as Editor-in-Chief of Man of the World a role he has held since 2013. Tennant had previously held various editorial roles at Vanity Fair, Playboy and New York magazine.
Highsnobiety Taps Jian Deleon as Editorial Director
Jian Deleon has joined Highsnobiety as Editorial Director. Deleon previously served as Sr. Menswear Editor at WGSN who he joined in 2016. Prior to that Deleon held various editorial roles including Deputy Style Editor at Complex, and Style Writer at GQ.com.
Lindsay Silberman, previously freelance writer at Vogue and WSJ, is now Senior Editor at Town & Country.
Mia Adorante, previously Associate Beauty Editor at W magazine, is now Beauty and Health Editor at the title.
Keanan Duffty Named Mentor for the Masters at Polimoda
Polimoda fashion institute in Florence Italy has named British-born and New York based designer Keanan Duffty as their Mentor for the Masters Program in Fashion Styling. Duffty will remain based in New York and will make six trips to Polimoda throughout 2017 to provide mentorship and educational guidance to students. Duffty was most recently Senior Design Director for John Varvatos Star USA. From 2012 to 2015 Duffty was Senior Academic Director of the Fashion Merchandising program at Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Madeline Johnson, previously account coordinator at Full Picture, has left the company.
Holt Querey is now Jr. Account Executive at Agentry PR.
