Chief Marketing Officer Melisa Goldie Exits Calvin Klein Inc.
Melisa Goldie announces that she has decided to leave Calvin Klein as Chief Marketing Officer to pursue other opportunities. Ms. Goldie has been with Calvin Klein since 2001 as vice president of print and broadcast production and was promoted to senior vice president of creative services in 2006, and now will pursue other opportunities.
EVP and CFO Sabrina Simmons Leaving Gap Inc.
Gap Inc.’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Sabrina Simmons will be leaving the company after 15 years. Simmons assisted the company since 2001, through financial and brick-and-mortar re-engineering and progressed through periods of increasing responsibility.
Ben Stubbington Tapped as SVP at Lululemon Athletica
Lululemon Athletica has appointed Ben Stubbington as Senior Vice President of men’s design. Stubbington previously served as Creative Director of menswear at Theory. Prior to that, he worked at Loomstate as Design Director for men’s and women’s apparel.
Barneys Promotes Josh Lieberman to EVP Digital
Barneys New York has promoted Josh Lieberman to executive vice president of digital. Lieberman will now be responsible for overseeing Barney’s e-commerce and digital business, overseeing its marketing, merchandising, operations, creative, and technology. Lieberman joined Barneys in November 2012 and previously was Senior Vice President of digital marketing.
Neiman’s Taps Sarah Miller as SVP and CIO
Neiman Marcus Group has promoted Sarah Miller to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, succeeding Michael Kingston, who, according to the company, is moving into consulting. Miller, who joined Neiman Marcus Group in July 2013, will lead the company’s information services organization and strategies involving technology and digital innovation. Before joining Neiman Marcus Group, Miller held IT roles at Lowe’s Co., and was the chief information officer at Nash Finch Co.
AlixPartners Names Michael Kingston as Director of Digital Practice
Global advisory firm AlixPartners named Michael Kingston as a Director of the company’s digital practice, and will be based in its Dallas office. Kingston has more than 20 years experience in the retail, luxury goods and consumer products markets. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of The Neiman Marcus Group. Prior to Neiman Marcus, Kingston served as Executive Vice President of transformation and technology at Ann Inc.
Marty Wikstrom Tapped As NED of Cath Kidston Board
Marty Wikstrom has joined the board of Cath Kidston Group as a Non-Executive Director. Wikstrom previously served as Harrods Managing Director. Prior to her time at luxury department store, Harrods, Wikstrom spent 19 years as President of Nordstrom. She is also on the boards of brands including Fortnum & Mason, Johnstons of Elgin and The Rug Company.
Vivarte Board Drives Out CEO Stéphane Maquaire
The board of directors of Vivarte have ousted Chief Executive Officer Stéphane Maquaire. Maquaire has served as CEO since February 2016 and formerly served as Chief Executive Director of Monoprix.
Moose Knuckles Appoints Marco D’Avanzo GM and VP of Sales and Marketing for Europe
Canadian luxury outerwear brand Moose Knuckles has hired Marco D’Avanzo as general manager and vice president of sales and marketing for its Europe division. Before joining Moose Knuckles, D’Avanzo was international sales and retail manager for Woolrich.
Michelle Ryan, previously SVP of Marketing at L’Oréal USA’s Multicultural Beauty Group, is now SVP of Marketing at L’Oréal Professionnel.
Edições Globo Condé Nast Appoints Daniela Falcão Managing Director
Edições Globo Condé Nast, a partnership between Condé Nast and South America’s Globo, has appointed Daniela Falcão to Managing Director. Previously, Falcão served as the Editorial Director of Edições Globo Condé Nast, and oversaw a portfolio of brands. Prior to that she was Editor In Chief of Vogue Brazil.
Charles Townsend Leaves Condé Nast as Chairman
Charles Townsend, the chairman of Condé Nast, has retired from the role of Chairman. Townsend was named chairman in January, previously serving as Chief Executive Officer of Condé Nast from 2004 to 2015.
Lorraine Candy Joins The Sunday Times
News UK has named Lorraine Candy to the position of Luxury Content Director of the Sunday Times and Editor-In-Chief of Style. Candy previously worked at Elle UK, where she spent 12 years, most recently as Editor-In-Chief. Prior to that, she was Editor-In-Chief at Cosmopolitan.
