Marigay McKeeMarigay McKee Exits Post as President of Saks Fifth Avenue, Marc Metrick named new President
After 15 months at the helm of Saks Fifth Avenue, Marigay McKee has mutually agreed with the luxury retailer to step down as President. McKee had been recruited from Harrods, which she helped turn into one of the world’s most successful luxury retail destinations.

Marc Metrick, EVP and Chief Administrative Officer of Saks parent company Hudson’s Bay Company, was named as McKee’s successor. Metrick previously spent 15 years at SFA moving up the ranks to Chief Strategy Officer before joining HBC in 2012. He played an instrumental role in helping HBC acquire Saks Fifth Avenue.

Francois KressCarolina Herrera Appoints François Kress CEO
François Kress, previously Global President of Stuart Weitzman, has been appointed CEO of Carolina Herrera. Kress, previously held roles at Prada, Fendi, The Row, and Bulgari. He will report to José Manuel Albesa, Chief Brand Officer for Carolina Herrera’s parent company Puig.

Design duo, Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley, who previously designed the now defunct Marc by Marc Jacobs collection, have launched a new collection: Hillier Bartley. The womenswear luxury label was presented to  select buyers in Paris in March and will launch with a fall 2015 collection of ready-to-wear, bags and accessories.

Ralph Lauren Corp. Promotes Christopher H. Peterson to President, Global Brands
Christopher H. Peterson, who joined Ralph Lauren Corp. in 2012 from Procter & Gamble Co., has been promoted to the newly formed role of President of Global Brands and will continue to report to Ralph Lauren, Chairman and CEO. Reporting to Peterson will be the Global Brand Presidents, the CFO, Global Real Estate and Investor Relations.

Robert L. Madore, previously SVP of Finance, has been promoted to SVP CFO and will continue to report to Peterson. Reporting to Madore, who joined the company in 2004, will be the accounting, finance, treasury, tax and internal audit functions. In addition, he will share oversight and management of divisional financial operations.

Mitchell A. Kosh Promoted to EVP, Chief Admin. Officer. Ralph Lauren Corp.
Mitchell A. Kosh, previously EVP of Human Resources, has been named EVP and Chief Administrative Officer of Ralph Lauren Corp and will continue to report to Ralph Lauren, Chairman and CEO. Reporting to Kosh, who joined the company in 2000, will be the global heads of human resources; information technology; legal, corporate services and facilities; internal branding and communications, and corporate social responsibility.

Kering Named Yves Egeileh as M&A Director
French conglomerate Kering, owners of Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Puma, and other brands, has named Yves Egeileh as M&A Director. Egeileh joins the firm from J.P. Morgan, where he was a VP overseeing mergers and acquisitions primarily in Europe, the Middle East and the U.S..

Brian Wolk and Claude MoraisRuffian Design Duo, Brian Wolk and Claude Morais, Launch New Label
Ruffian designers Brian Wolk and Claude Morais, who recently relocated to Los Angeles, announced the launch of a new line, Wolk Morais. The collection will debut with a runway show at Hollywood’s Kohn Gallery on April 13, marking the one-year anniversary of the duo’s move to LA and styled by Elizabeth Stewart.

Tween retailer Justice, a division of Ascena Retail Group Inc., named Brian Lynch as President. Lynch was previously the President of  Ann Taylor at Ann Inc. and prior to that held executive positions at Gap Inc., Learning Smith Inc. and The Walt Disney Co.

IMG Appoints Leslie Russo as SVP of Global Sales & Brand Management
Modeling/talent and events agency IMG has named Leslie Russo as SVP of Global Sales and Brand Management. Russo previously spent 15 years at Condé Nast, working on various titles including Brides, Details, Glamour, and W Magazine. Russo will be based in New York and be responsible for the company’s partnerships and sales.

Bread & Butter Appoints Haman Alimardani as Creative Director
Berlin trade fair Bread & Butter has tapped Haman Alimardani as Creative Director. Alimardani will be responsible for the direction of the restructured fair, which is scheduled for July 7 to 9. Alimardani runs his own label, Hamansutra, and has previously worked with Kenzo, Mey, Microsoft, Nike, and Porsche.

Jeff Lupinacci, Iconix Brands Group’s CFO, Exits Post
Iconix Brands Group’s CFO, Jeff Lupinacci, has resigned to pursue another business opportunity. David Blumberg, ECP and Head of Strategic Development, will temporarily take on CFO duties while the company searches a replacement.

Brenton Kearley, previously SVP of Sales at Clarins, is now Senior VP of Sales at the company.

Michela Ratti, previously Director of Communications at P&G Prestige, is now Director of Communications at Salvatore Ferragamo.

Nicole Franco, previously PR at Helmut Lang, is now Senior Coordinator at Salvatore Ferragamo.

Dior Moves Resort Show from LA to French Riviera
Dior brings their resort show back to France for their 2016 show. The house previously showed their last resort collection in Brooklyn NY and had announced they would show the forthcoming show in Los Angeles. However, the house has announced the LA show will instead be shown on May 11 in the French Riviera. Perhaps the location will be the set of the house’s recent Miss Dior fashion film.

Condé Nast President Nicholas Coleridge has been tapped as Chairman of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Coleridge succeeds Paul Ruddock, who held the title for eight years. Coleridge will work with V&A Director Martin Roth on the opening of the V&A Museum of Design in Dundee in 2018 and on future plans for a potential V&A site in East London. His four-year term will commence in November.
