Peter Dundas takes Final Bow for Emilio Pucci
Peter Dundas, who took the reigns of Emilio Pucci as Creative Director in 2009, took his final bow today for Emilio Pucci and confirmed rumors he will be leaving the house. Pucci has yet to release an official statement regarding Dundas’ departure or his replacement but industry sources point to MSGM designer Massimo Giorgetti. Ex-Schiaparelli and Rochas designer Marco Zanini’s name has also be thrown into the mix.
Gap Names Wendi Goldman EVP of Product Design
Gap has appointed Wendi Goldman as EVP of Product Design and Development, a newly created position. Goldman previously was EVP and Chief Product Officer of the recently shuttered label C.Wonder. The appointment comes after former creative director Rebekka Bay departed last month.
Comptoir des Cotonniers Appoints Anne-Valerie Hash as Creative Director
Comptoir des Cotonniers, owned by Fast Retailing, has named Anne-Valerie Hash as its new Creative Director, replacing Amélie Gillier, who left in November to pursue “personal projects.” Hash, joins the company after 13 years at her namesake label. She will reveal her first collection, Fall 2015, in April.
Gucci Appoints Stéphane Linder as Timepieces & Jewelry CEO
Gucci has named Stéphane Linder as its new Timepieces and Jewelry President and CEO. Linder was previously President and CEO of TAG Heuer, where he held various roles for 20 years before becoming president in 2013. Linder will report to Marco Bizzarri, Gucci President and CEO.
American Apparel Names Thoryn Stephens Chief Digital Officer
Thoryn Stephens has been named Chief Digital Officer of American Apparel, a newly created position. Stephens will be responsible for optimizing the company’s digital marketing, data analytics, and e-commerce strategies. Prior to joining the company, Stephens was Vice President of data science at Tillster.
American Apparel Appoints Cynthia Erland SVP of Marketing
Cynthia Erland, most recently a senior marketing executive at Perry Ellis International, has been named SVP of Marketing at American Apparel. Erland will oversee the company’s marketing and communications programs.
Bally Names Claudia Cividino CEO of the Americas
Claudia Cividino, previously of Reed Krakoff and Coach, Adam and Yves Saint Laurent, has been named CEO of the Americas at Bally. Cividino will be based in New York and responsible for the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
Delvaux Promotes Christina Zeller to Artistic Director
Belgian luxury leather goods maker Delvaux has promoted Christina Zeller to Artistic Director from Collections and Product Director. Zeller joined Delvaux in 2011 and had previously held key accessories roles at Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Lacroix, and Givenchy. She began her career with Franco Moschino in the 80’s.
La Montre Hermès Names Laurent Dordet CEO
Laurent Dordet, currently CEO of Hermès Maroquinerie Sellerie, has been appointed CEO of La Montre Hermès. Dordet joined Hermès International at the end of 1995 and has previously served as CEO of Hermès Curis Précieux.
