Anthony Vaccarello Named Yves Saint Laurent Creative Director
After months of speculation, Anthony Vaccarello has been named Creative Director at Yves Saint Laurent following the departure of Hedi Slimane. His first collection for the Kering owned house will be Spring 17 showing in October at Paris Fashion Week. Vaccarello, long rumored for the role, has overseen his namesake label since 2009. He is departing Versus Versace where he spent three years as a consultant being named Creative Director in 2015.

Coty Names Simona Cattaneo CMO
Beauty firm Coty, who counts Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, and Chloe as brands, has appointed Simona Cattaneo as CMO for the luxury division. Cattaneo, who was previously Head of Beauty at Burberry, will be based in Paris. Prior to Burberry, Cattaneo held various positions at Dior and L’Oréal.

Kering Taps Sapna Sood, Sophie L’Hélias and Laurence Boone to its Board of Directors
Luxury conglomerate Kerning who owns Gucci, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen and others has appointed Sapna Sood, Sophie L’Hélias and Laurence Boone to its Board of Directors. Since 2013 Sood has served as Group Senior Vice President, Health and Safety at Lafarge, a French industrial company that works in cement, construction aggregates and concrete. Earlier this year Boone left her government position to return to the private sector as Chief Economist of the Axa Group and Head of Research at Axa IM. Cofounder and former director, L’Hélias worked with the nonprofit International Corporate Governance Network.

Stephen Urquhart, President of Omega, Retires
After 17 years at the helm, Stephen Urquhart will be stepping down as President of Omega. Urquhart joined Omega from Swatch Group where he served as President of Blancpain. Prior to that he worked at Audemars Piguet hold various roles and named Joint Chairman and Delegate of the Board of Directors in 1989. Urquhart began his career in 1968 at the firm he retired from, Omega.

Raynald Aeschlimann Named President of Omega
Omega has promoted Reynaldo Aeschlimann to President. Aeschlimann previously served as the company’s VP of Sales since 2001 and as Member of the Extended Group Management Board since 2013. He joined Omega in 1996 as Sales and Marketing Project Manager. He was also Brand Manager of Omega and Blancpain Spain in 2000 and has been the Group Coordinator for the Swatch Group’s Indian subsidiary since 2010. Mr. Aeschlimann is on the Executive Board of the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH. He had previously worked at Longines and Complementa AG in St. Gallen from 1992 to 1996.

SoulCycle Founders Elizabeth Cutler and Julie Rice Step Down
Elizabeth Cutler and Julie Rice, Co-Founders and Co-Chief Creative Directors at SoulCycle are stepping down and will continue to serve on the board. Cutler and Rice, who cofounded SoulCycle in 2006, sold 97 percent of the firm to Equinox last year. The move comes as Equinox prepares to take the company public.

Matthias Mecking Appointed GM of Puma Team Sport
Puma has tapped Matthias Mecking as GM of its team sports business unit. Mocking was previously a consultant at German sports club Werder Bremen. Prior to that he held various roles at Adidas including Senior Director of Project Management.

Lenka Leadley, previously Senior Communications Manager at John Lewis, is now PR Director at Giuseppe Zanotti in the UK.

Marie-José Susskind-Jalou has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of L’Official with her first issue to be September 2016.  This is Susskindo-Jalou’s second tenure as Editor-in-Chief of the title which she led from 1988 to 2003 before being named the firms Group President.

Condé Nast Traveler Promotes Candice Rainey-Belfiore as Executive Editor
Condé Nast Traveler Deputy Editor Candice Rainey-Belfiore has been promoted to Executive Editor. Prior to joining Condé Nast Traveler, Rainey-Belfiore spent three years as Deputy Editor, Details. Previously she held  various roles at Elle and GQ.

Lauren DeCarlo, previously Articles Editor at Condé Nast Traveler is now Deputy Editor at the publication.

Condé Nast Traveler Names Alexandra Postman as Features Director
Alexandra Postman has been named Features Director of Condé Nast Traveler. Postman was the former Editor-in-Chief of Whole Living.  Most recently, Postman served as a Contributing Editor at publication.Prior to that she was Deputy Editor at Self.

Peter Jon Lindberg Steps Down as Executive Editor Condé Nast Traveler
After a year at the role, Executive Editor of Condé Nast Traveler, Peter Jon Lindberg, is returning to his freelance career. Lindberg previously served the publication as a contributing international editor and Senior Correspondent. Lindbergh previously spent 15 years at Travel + Leisure, as Editor-at-Large.

Joan Kron Named Contributing Editor at The Live Box Magazine
After 24 years at Allure, being one of the publications first editors,  Joan Kron has been named Contributing Editor of The Live Box Magazine. The online B-toB publication provides content to aesthetics and beauty markets, including plastic surgeons, dermatologists and salons.

Noah Silverstein, previously Fashion News Assistant at ELLE, is now Associate Fashion Writer at Glamour.

Emily Tannenbaum, previously Social Media Editorial Associate at VanityFair.com, is now Social Media Editor at ELLE.com.
