Salvatore Ferragamo Taps Donald Kohler as Chief Executive of the Americas
Effective September 4th, Donald Kohler will join Salvatore Ferragamo as Chief Exectuive of the Americas and Chief Retail Officer of Worldwide operations. Previously, Kohler worked at Burberrry since 2008, where he was most recently President of the Americas. Prior to his time there, Kohler held VP Planning positions at Williams Sonoma and Gap.
Pal Zileri Names Rocco Iannone Creative Director
Italian menswear brand Pal Zileri has tapped Rocco Iannone to be their new Creative Director. Previously, Iannone worked at Giorgio Armani as Senior Designer for over a decade in Milan. Prior to that, he briefly worked as a designer for Dolce & Gabbana. Iannone’s first collection for Pal Zileri will premier in Fall 2018.
New Look Taps Paula Dumont López as Chief Creative Officer
Global fashion retailer New Look has appointed Paula Dumont López as their new Chief Creative Officer. López joins from Esprit where she was SVP and Head of Esprit Women since 2013. Prior to that, López held multiple leadership roles at Spanish retailer Inditex, with her most recent being Head of Product for Zara Basic. López will succeed Roger Wightman, who was with New Look for 27 years and will remain on as a member of the board.
Zuhair Murad Names Alessandro Cremonesi CEO
Alessandro Cremonesi has joined Lebanese couture house Zuhair Murad as Chief Executive Officer of its RTW and accessories divisions. Cremonesi was previously CEO of Jil Sander and has opened an office in Lugano, Switzerland, with a new design team.
Rimowa Taps Rocky Jacob as Chief Product Officer
Rocky Jacob joins German luggage brand Rimowa as their new Chief Product Officer where he will be responsible for product design, marketing, research and development. Previously, Jacob was Head of Industrial Design at Nest Labs, the smart home amenities manufacturer. Prior to that Jacob served as Lead Industrial Designer at HTC, and he also has experience as the founder and Principal Designer at his own design studio, Rocky Jacob Design.
Olivier Saillard Joins J.M. Weston as Artistic, Image, and Culture Director
J.M. Weston as tapped Olivier Saillard to be their new Artistic, Image, and Culture Director, where he will be oversee the brand’s image. Saillard joins from Palais Galliera where we was Director for 7 years. Saillard is also a known fashion curator and performer, which he will continue to practice while at J.M. Weston.
Anne Keating Departs Bloomingdales as SVP of Public Relations
Anne Keating, Bloomingdales’ SVP of Public Relations, Special Events, and Corporate Philanthropy, is stepping down after 29 years with the company. Keating was a key force in driving expansion the department giant’s philanthropic relations. Moving forward, Keating will be an Independent Consultant who specializes in Brand Philanthropy.
Patrik Frisk, previously CEO at Aldo Group, is now President and Chief Operating Officer at Under Armour.
Paul Fipps, previously Chief Information Officer at Under Armour, is now Chief Technology Officer.
Coline Browne, previously President of Global Sourcing at Under Armour, is now Chief Supply Chain Officer.
Jess Ward, previously PR Director at Ramy Brook, is now Director of Marketing and Communications.
Emily Platte, previously PR Assistant at Ramy Brook, is now Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
Joe Zee Departs Yahoo Style as Editor-in-Chief
Yahoo Style Editor-in-Chief Joe Zee is departing from the firm he joined in 2014. Zee parts ways with the organization following Verizon’s acquisition of the firm. Zee started his career at WWD, going on to Allure, W, and Elle magazine where he became a household name due to his television appearances.
Simon Gresham Jones is joining Condé Nast Britain as Chief Digital Officer starting this September. In his new position, Jones will report to Managing Director Albert Read, and President of Condé Nast International Wolfgang Blau. Jones joins from Burberry where he was Global VP of Digital Marketing, and prior to that he worked Digital Marketing for Xbox in Europe Middle East Asia.
GQ South Africa promotes Nkosiyati Khumalo Editor-in-Chief
Nkosiyati Khumalo has been appointed Editor-in-Chief at GQ South Africa, succeeding Craig Tyson, who is leaving the title after 13 years. Khumalo was most recently Deputy Editor, a role he has held since 2013.

Eric Rivera, previously Senior Account Manager at Purple Los Angeles, is now Consumer Communications and Marketing manager at WeWork.
