When I saw you I fell in love and you smiled because you knew.

William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet

And smile we must as Burberry’s sweeping epic holiday campaign, “From London with Love,” is both endearing and enchanting. Returning for a sophomore ad effort is 12-year-old Romeo Beckham, who had previously starred in Burberry’s Spring 2013 ad campaign, and son of Britain’s other royalty, Victoria and David.

Here the young master Beckham acts as cupid in a sophisticated fantasy featuring an inspiring ballad, “The Way That I Live” composed and performed for the piece by Ed Hardcourt which is available for pre-order on iTunes today. Hardcourt is no stranger to the brand having performed recently at Burberry’s runway show in Shanghai and has penned a beautiful piece for this spot.

“The story captures a boy delivering the gift of love to a young couple, played by Hannah Dodds and Anders Hayward, who take him on a journey of romance and festive enchantment through the streets of London, and celebrates gifting as the ultimate symbol of a connection between people,” according to show notes.

The video—creatively directed by Christopher Bailey— is an ode to the romance of London and features over 50 dancers choreographed by Lynne Page, performing in black trenches and camel ball gowns while a dusty slight snow drifts in the air.  Filmed at a custom-designed set on the George Lucas stage, the backdrop is a theatrical version of London complete with a skyline.Unknown-2

The performance is moving while touching upon all the holiday core giftables we’ve come to expect from Burberry including, scarves, plaid lined umbrellas, trench coats and their new My Burberry gold boxed fragrance all released in stores today and on Burberry.com.
