Burberry has done the unthinkable, providing video proof that people do indeed ‘Walk in LA.’ As part of the brands video series promoting their Art of the Trench site the brand filmed LA regulars sporting trenches, an item one doesn’t immediately think of in 72 degree and sunny weather. However trenches certainly show their versatility when fabricated colored and designed under Burberry’s uber-CEO Christopher Bailey.

The Art of the Trench site itself was design to walk the fine line between Burberry’s luxury base and generating interest in new aspirational customers.  The program is a pure digital initiative and was kicked off with The Sartorialist Scott Schuman’s photographs in 2011. Three years and hundreds of thousands of trenches later the community is still as vibrant as ever.

For their LA leg of the video tour Burberry captured LA newbie’s such as Joe Zee along with regulars from Guggenheim Digital Media’s Janice Min, to skater Ben Nordberg. Known for their inventive use of music the brand lives up to that reputation with Billie Marten’s rendition of ‘Ribbon.’  All in all it shows just how far one can walk when one invites a community to be a part of the journey.
