Calvin Klein 205W39NYC Fall 2017 Ad Campaign

For the recently renamed Calvin Klein 205W39NYC (formerly Calvin Klein Collection), Creative Director Raf Simons and crew head to wide open plains of the US juxtaposing modernism with the magic of a Marfa like mecca for its cast.

Lensed by Willy Vanderperre, the campaign has a sense of post modernism about it via leveraging the previous Spring 2017 campaign, include works by artist Andy Warhol, as freeway billboards populating a deserted landscape. The setting allows the collection to come alive in a cinematic vernacular that is a hint of Wim Wender’s Paris Texas meets today.
