Bradley Cooper Stars in Louis Vuitton’s Latest Watch Campaign

Spotlight on the redesigned Tambour timepiece, captured in Paris’s Musée d’Orsay

Bradley Cooper, the Oscar-nominated actor and filmmaker, has joined forces with Louis Vuitton once again for a campaign highlighting the reimagined Tambour timepiece. The shoot, conducted by acclaimed photographer Mario Sorrenti, took place in the iconic Musée d’Orsay in Paris.

Accompanying the photographs is a film crafted by Damien Chazelle, the mind behind “La La Land,” weaving a story wherein Cooper awaits a silhouetted woman against the museum’s renowned mechanical clock.

The campaign is set to debut in various global print publications, including the U.S. edition of Esquire. Additionally, audiences can anticipate its release on Louis Vuitton’s digital and social platforms starting September 1.

Since becoming Vuitton’s inaugural brand ambassador for watches in September 2022, Cooper has been instrumental in commemorating the Tambour’s 20th anniversary. This collaboration was among the foremost initiatives launched by Jean Arnault, who joined the brand as the director of marketing and product development for watches a year earlier.

In a significant move, Louis Vuitton announced last month its decision to discontinue approximately 80% of its watch collection in a bid for refinement and luxury. The redesigned Tambour boasts an integrated bracelet, a unique LFT023 movement, and is priced at a premium, being about five times its previous cost.

The updated Tambour, envisioned as a unisex accessory, features a 40mm dial and will be available in various materials and finishes. The design changes include the seamless integration of the bracelet and a sleek profile, contrasting with the earlier Tambour designs.

Furthermore, Bradley Cooper’s directed film, “Maestro,” is slated for its premiere at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, leading up to its worldwide theatrical release in November.
