KARL LAGERFELD & CARINE ROITFELD help CHANEL take flight in their latest key item campaign.

In front of the Chanel show tomorrow we wished to look at last season, where Chanel flew us, literally, into their Spring/Summer ’16 collection and some of their recent marketing to promote key times, including a wonderful array of rolling carry-on luggage pieces that made us feel ever-so-classy, in the way that only Chanel can do.

And just arriving on the latest flight, Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld are seen wheeling in the newest video from Chanel SS ’16, highlighting the Chanel Coco Case. Of course they come in style, “classy and fabulous” as Coco herself would say. The video short emulates the look of the seasonal campaign, teasing the viewer with an air of mystery as to who is pulling that luggage.

This season we’ve seen a slew of design houses start to leverage short form video content for key-item pushes. This is a flight we at The Impression have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of and hope more brands depart for this destination as the medium is right for the message.

And if Lagerfeld and Roitfeld are any indication of the fashion jet set, it looks to us like Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2016 Collection is going to fly high!
