Vogue and Farfetch Join Forces for Exclusive Online Curation

Vogue Collaborates with Farfetch: A New Approach to Online Retail

Vogue has launched a special curatorial retail project in collaboration with Farfetch that translates a magazine editorial into a special online retail platform.

The magazine’s October issue featured an editorial titled “Basic Instincts” shot by photographer Mark Borthwick and styled by Alex Harrington, which put a thoughtfully elevated spin on the much-buzzed about “quiet luxury” trend for the Fall 2023 season, in particular highlighting pieces from Prada, Bottega Veneta, Stella McCartney, and The Row.

Now Vogue has teamed with Farfetch to bring a curated selection of pieces inspired by the shoot together into a streamlined online shopping platform. Chosen by Vogue’s team of editors and stylists, the selection lives on the Vogue Shopping website, but redirects one to Farfetch to make the actual purchase.

This alliance underscores the evolving dynamics of the fashion sphere. While once print media held the allure, the tide is shifting in favor of digital retailers. Such collaborative ventures hint at a new horizon in the world of fashion commerce.
