Gucci announces the launch of their photo book “Blind for Love”

Gucci is celebrating its 2017 Cruise Runway show held last June with a limited-edition photo book titled “Blind for Love.” Published by Assouline, the volume contains images shot by British artist and photographer Nick Waplington before, during, and after the show. Alongside the candid photos, the pages will be punctuated by lines from the English ballad “Scarborough Fair,” which was played at the runway show.

To honor the English influences throughout “Blind for Love,” the coffee table book features a painted portrait of Queen Elizabeth I on the front cover.

“Blind for Love” will be available in a limited number of 1,000 copies and will be sold at Assouline boutiques around the world, at Dover Street Market in London, New York City, Tokyo, Colette in Paris and select bookstores. Being able to have a behind-the-scenes view of Gucci’s Cruise show is an opportunity to receive a better encapsulation of what it was all about without having to have physically been there.
