Langley Fox Hemingway
By Jessica Lofaro | Impressionist
Having the titles such as an illustrator, artist, and model, Langley Fox Hemingway isn’t stopping there! Italian label Max Mara gave Hemingway the perfect assignment – creating a nine-piece ‘Carte Blanche’ collection for their younger line, Sportmax. As the granddaughter of Pulitzer-prize winning author Ernest Hemingway, daughter of actress Mariel, and sister to model Dree, it seems that an artistic expression must run in Hemingway’s blood!
With 1000 pieces manufactured, the limited edition collection is inspired by Hemingway’s love of nature. Consisting of just three T-shirts, three dresses and three sweatshirts, each piece features a floral, feather or botanical illustration, which has become Langley’s signature.
Langley is in good company, joining past Carte Blanche Sportmax collaborators including director Chiara Clemente, creative Ambra Medda, artist Lola Montes Schnabel, musician Kim Gordon and art director Christophe Brunnquell.
The Sportmax Carte Blanche by Langley Fox Hemingway was revealed at the Sportmax flagship in Milan last week and is available to purchase in stores now.
