Project that Impressed Us
Lanvin’s Spring 2013 Campaign Video.
While House+Holme is known for helping Topshop, Mulberry and Louis Vuitton carve out distinct marketing voices, it is their partnership with the house of Lanvin that impresses us. Not simply because the work is stunning, but because the thought behind how to integrate a designer personality within the brand’s communication is so well crafted. Most designer houses treat their designers as PR fodder who are only seen in magazine profiles or at the end of a runway. House+Holme pulled designer Alber Elbaz into campaigns, giving viewers a chance to see that in addition to having a fine eye, the designer has a fine wit. Lanvin has always been desirable, but because House+Holme layered in Elbaz’s whimsical personality, Lanvin has become emotionally endearing. And that is smart creative.
