Hunger TV & Rankin Paint the Town Red

Hunger TV has synched up with Louis Vuitton to present not The Woman in Black, but the Woman in Red! Directed by Rankin and art directed by Vicky Lawton, this video was definitely less scary than the Hammer Film Productions, but just as destructive and taunt. Entitled ‘These Four Walls’, this ‘fashion-thriller’ showcases the looks from Nicolas Ghesquière’s Louis Vuitton spring collection.

The short stars model Mae Lapres, dressed in red and in an entirely red set. The film opens with the camera focused on Lapres’s face, looking annoyed yet satisfied. But as the camera pulls back and the feature unfolds, the viewer is taken through a slow-mo rewind, showing us what has brought her that satisfaction. It would appear that Lapres got her ‘breaking bad’ on, with the emphasis on breaking.

If you’ve seen the The Woman in Black, that was horror-crazy… but the Woman in RED, now that was high-fashion crazy! The Impression loves it!
