FABIEN BARON keeps it elevated for La Perla’s Spring 2016 ad campaign

In 2014 La Perla wisely engaged Creative Director Fabien Baron and his agency Baron & Baron to help the intimates label develop their image. Several years and multiple campaigns later, it is hard to remember how the house looked before Baron elevated the creative with striking simplicity that allowed for the house’s own sexiness to shine through.
For spring 2016 Baron wisely stays the course and once again enlists the brand’s ongoing image team of photographers Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott along with models Liu Wen, Mariacarla Boscono and Natasha Poly. The campaign is a lesson in both how a brand can turn around in a relatively short amount of time by partnering with the right agency as well as how an agency should manage creative development. Often in fashion the label and the agency get tired of their own visual direction long before the consumers are even familiar with it. It is a testament to the experience of Baron & Baron that they have stayed the course and along the way developed one of intimates’ most distinctive brands into one of fashion’s most distinctive advertisers.
