Melisa Goldie, previously EVP and Chief Creative Officer, overseeing the Calvin Klein Advertising and Marketing teams, has been named Chief Marketing Officer of Calvin Klein Inc. Goldie reports to Steve Shiffman, chief executive officer of CKI. Under the new structure, CKI will unify the creative studio and the communications teams with Goldie overseeing all marketing-led initiatives including consumer engagement, public relations, advertising and social media. “Melisa defined strategic marketing programs and led the execution of the Calvin Klein brand’s most iconic and inspirational campaigns and product initiatives over the last decade,” said Shiffman.
Anthony Ledru, previously Senior Vice President of Tiffany & Co., North America, will become the President and Chief Executive Officer of Louis Vuitton Americas, beginning January of 2015. He succeeds Valérie Chapoulaud-Floquet, who is currently the Chief Executive at Rémy Cointreau. Ledru previously held positions as the Vice President of Retail at Cartier in Latin America and the United States and Global Vice President of Sales at Harry Winston.
Marco Zanini is leaving his role at couture house Schiaparelli. Previously, Zanini was the designer for Rochas and worked in the design teams at houses including Versace, Halston and Dolce & Gabbana. Zanini presented two couture collections for Schiaparelli and was reported claiming that the house was “not exactly his fit.”
Duke Stump, previously of Nike and Seventh Generation is now Executive Vice President of Community and Brand at Lululemon Athletica Inc.. Stump will be responsible for “continuing to build an authentic and differentiated global brand and community experience and amplifying Lululemons global impact.” and will begin reporting to Laurent Potdevin, Chief Executive Officer on Decmber 1st.
Maurice Reznik, previously CEO of Maidenform Brands Inc. will become CEO of Intimate Apparel for the U.S. and U.K. for Delta Galil Industries Ltd., effective January 5 2015. Reznik will also become President of Delta Galil’s U.S. operations. His appointment comes four days after the expiration of his non-compete clause with Hanesbrands Inc., which acquired Maidenform for $583 million in October 2013. Reznik will report to Isaac Dabah, CEO of Tel Aviv-based Delta Galil. Delta Galil licenses to brands including Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Original Penguin and Kenneth Cole.
Carol Koh Evans, previously Chief Operating Officer at XO Group Inc. is now Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating officer at Tradesy, the designer fashion online resale platform.
Karen Pirritt, previously Vice President of Chico’s is now Senior Vice President for Amita Naithani, a resortwear company that launched earlier this year. Amita Naithani presented her collection of swimsuit cover-ups and resortwear in July at the 2015 International Swimwear Show in Miami.
Ken Hicks, will retire as President and CEO of Footlocker, December, 1. Hicks joined the company in 2009 and will remain Executive Chairman until May 2015. Richard Johnson, previously Chief Operating Officer of the company, will succeed Hicks. Johnson has been with Footlocker for nearly 20 years.
Melody Harris-Jensbach, previously Chief Product Officer at Esprit and Puma, is now Chief Executive at German outdoor clothing brand Jack Wolfskin.
Demetria White, previously Global Communications Director at Nike is now the Global Communication and Brand Director for Balenciaga and will begin December 1st.. For her new role, White will make the transition from Oregon to Paris and will report to Creative Director Alexander Wang and Isabelle Guichot, Balenciaga’s president and CEO. White began her career in PR, working for brands such as Yohji Yamamoto and Christian Dior Couture, before joining Nike in 2007. White succeeds Lionel Vermeil, who joined Balenciaga’s parent company Kering in September as Director of Fashion and Luxury Intelligence.
Jonas Falk, previously Director of Communications and PR at Jil Sander is now Global PR and Marketing Director Giuseppe Zanotti.
John Worthington, previously Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Executive VP at Kohl’s, is now President and COO at New York & Company.
Carolyne Rapp, previously Director of Global Fashion and Creative Concepts at Gap, has left the company.
Tricia Starr, previously Senior PR Manager at C. Wonder, has been named Senior PR and Marketing Manager at Lela Rose.
