Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons Masters 2 Collaboration

After the success of the Louis Vuitton Masters, a collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Jeff Koons from April of this year, it only made sense for them to team up again to show how art and fashion coincide in the same world.
As a continuation of Koon’s “Gazing Ball” series, which Koon’s states is about having appreciation for things that came before us, the Louis Vuitton Masters 2 will feature the brands iconic handbags with classic art pieces such as François Boucher’s “Reclining Girl,” Paul Gauguin’s “Delightful Land,” Edouard Manet’s “Luncheon on the Grass,” Claude Monet’s “Water Lilies,” J.M.W Turner’s “Ancient Rome,” and Nicolas Poussin’s “The Triumph.”

The ad to accompany this collection features an entertaining animation of the art pieces moving to the beat of “Party People” by Vince Staples. This tastefully demonstrates the crossover of classical and modern art, which perfectly outlines the collection as a whole.
This collection will be exclusively sold at the newly opened, Maison Louis Vuitton Vendôme in Paris and is set to release Oct. 27.
