Finnish(ed)
By Marissa Tozzi | Impressionist

Marimekko’s Fall Collection for 2015 is finally ‘Finnish-ed’. The campaign, photographed by Osma Harvilahti, was shot at the Aalto University Otaniemi Campus Department of Architecture in Helsinki, tributing to Marimekko’s Finnish heritage.

While new Creative Director Anna Teurnell’s influence on Marimekko design can be seen in this Fall collection, her first full collection for the brand will debut in Spring 2016.

Timeless city architecture seemed to be the driving force behind Teurnell’s inspiration. In representing different periods in time in different cities, and displaying the architectural diversity of each place through her designs, this campaign shows how the foundations of nature are able to inspire and empower, assisting you in discovering serenity in your everyday.
