Fast paced, on-the-go lifestyles and busy schedules are exhausting for several reasons. For one, juggling numerous projects simultaneously could make you easily confused and multitasking between mobile devices and desktops could leave you disoriented. Smartwatches like the Apple Watch, Fitbit and Samsung Gear help control chaotic moments, and now Michael Kors is lending a helping hand too with the Sofie smartwatch.
Powered by Android Wear, the Sofie smartwatch is Michael Kors’ latest touchscreen wearable featuring Google Assistant, which gives information and travel directions, receives notifications and completes tasks all via voice-activation.
Michael Kors is one of five brands to launch a smartwatch with Google Assistant, alongside Emporio Armani, Diesel, Misfit and Fossil. In addition, the Sofie smartwatch joins the previous Michael Kors ACCESS smartwatch models, Bradshaw and Dylan, and is complimented by the Grayson style for men.
The American fashion company tapped Romanian model Andreea Diaconu to star in the Michael Kors ACCESS campaign. Diaconu uses the Sofie smartwatch to its potential in the campaign’s television commercial, glancing at the watch to check her schedule, read text messages, count her steps, ask for directions, answer phone calls and even do translations.
Not many fashion companies are venturing into wearables and not to the extent of Michael Kors, introducing a smartwatch to compete with offerings from Apple, Samsung and Movado. And with the holiday season fast approaching, the Sofie smartwatch could be your new favorite accessory, fashionable friend and problem solver, or just the right gift for a loved one.
