Moncler x Jean-Philippe Delhomme for “Postcards” a Summer Capsule Collection

BY SAWYER GAINES

Moncler has released a bright and summery capsule collection entitled “Postcards” for Spring 2017 in collaboration with Parisian illustrator Jean-Philippe Delhomme. The artist has previously worked with GQ on their column “The Style Guy” and has published many volumes of his own illustrations along with writing a children’s book.

The collection features a range of sunny and cheerful prints for both outerwear and t-shirts crafted in the distinct visual style of Delhomme. The colorful prints are inspired by the world’s most famous beaches including Venice Beach in California, Saint Tropez in France, Positano in Italy and Capri. The friendly palette of sky blues, bright yellows, deep reds, and cloud whites are perfect for the warming weather and encapsulate the wonderful feeling of being at your favorite beach.

Alongside the collection Moncler and Delhomme released a fun little 45-second video showcasing the illustrations and prints for the campaign. The video keeps with the joyous vacation and beach themes of the collection and features playful animation and a few lighthearted gags and laughs. The pieces of the limited capsule collection can be purchased now online at Moncler’s website and are the perfect way to bring some art to your fashion this summer season.
