Mulberry & adam&eveDDB’s Humorous Holiday Campaign

The holiday season is in full swing with our British friends across the pond which means a season of sensational and creative holiday spots by design houses and retailers is upon us. While the U.S. releases a few fashionably creative holiday spots, we Yanks tend to promote key items, sales and layaway programs while our English counterparts just get inventive.
So it should come as no surprise that the irreverent and satirical isle that brought us Monty Python and the Holy Grail would produce Mulberry’s newest Miracle spot which winks at the miracle of gift giving. The design house has a history of memorable holiday campaigns featuring their iconic red bag as seen in last season’s #WinChristmas campaign. This year the firm once again partnered with Executive Creative Director Richard Brim and the team at adam&eveDDB to push the envelop further by poking fun at the seasons ‘spirit’ with their nod to the religious significance of the holiday.
The Impression loved beholding Mulberry’s new Miracle, and couldn’t help but think the real miracle would be if U.S. based houses could actually get away with this.
