Anna Wintour & Diane Von Furestenberg oversea a competition in which 10 designers get a chance to work alongside industry luminaries to prove they have what it takes to be named Fashion Fund Designer of the Year – the award comes with $300,000 and a one-year mentorship with some of the biggest names in fashion. This years the contestants are Edie Parker, Eva Fehren, Gigi Burris Millinery, Orley, Paul Andrew, Ryan Roche, Simon Miller, Tanya Taylor, & Wes Gordon.

Death Becomes Her: A Century of Mourning Attire

This exhibition explores the aesthetic development and cultural implications of mourning fashions and features mourning dress from 1815 to 1915. Examples of restrained simplicity are shown alongside those with ostentatious ornamentation from mourning crape to corded silks.
