Prada Fall 2017 Fashion Film

BY IVANNIA MORTON

Prada has released their 365 Fall 2017 campaign film, directed by Willy Vanderperre. The campaign is the second installation of promotion for Prada’s latest products, and ‘realities.’ The six new realities are Viewfinder, Mise-en-Scène, Denouement, Pièce de Chambre, and Affiches.

As each scene flashes by, a new world and a new look sets the stage for what Prada has in store. While somewhat serious, the atmosphere still remains playful with the range of color and textures. There are various ways to interpret the film, which adds to the mystery and creative image Prada gives off.

Rich hues were the star of the show, making it into nearly every realm. The music as well complimented scene transitions, and the models ‘rising up’ from their positions. Each world had a distinct vibe to it, making the realities seem both believable and ‘alternate.’
