Proenza Schouler Launches Secondary Line PSWL

BY JUDY DOWNS

Proenza Schouler has announced the launch of their PSWL (Proenza Schouler’s White Label) collection. The collection is an in-depth development of categories that the brand has touched upon through the years: denim, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and casual outerwear. In honor of the launch, Ricky Saiz shot the collection with Chloe Sevigny.

Composed of everyday wardrobe staples, PSWL is a riff on a number of references explored in past Proenza Schouler collections. Themes like the early Powell Peralta videos to the graphic work of Guy de Cointet, from Harmony Korine’s Kids to the work of some of the brand’s friends, like Dan Colen.

PSWL will launch this Spring 2018 season as a special project in creative collaboration with several of the brand’s longtime friends and stockists. The collection will become available at proenzaschouler.com on Nov. 6th and will be sold at select global retail locations and its two New York stores.
