The best fashion labels excel at providing an experience for all five of our senses. You can truly understand a brand’s ethos, story or messaging through the rich quality of a garment, a retail store soundtrack, or a new scent.

rag & bone created an experience for almost all of our senses and recently launched a visual experience to support its new eyewear collection. Creative Director Marcus Wainwright tapped husband and wife film duo Michael Polish and Kate Bosworth, a filmmaker and actress, respectively, to photograph each other with Leica cameras in the new eyewear collection and in real life settings.

Wainwright gave Bosworth and Polish full creative control on the project, and the result is a relaxed, authentic, intimate and spontaneous collection of photos shot at the California highway and the Northern coast of California where the couple first met.

“We have tremendous respect for Kate and Michael’s work in film and their eye for photography,” said Wainwright. “Their input on the project created something timeless, but personal.”

The stunning campaign, which is comprised of black-and-white and color images, displays Polish and Bosworth’s cool characters and personalities, as well as a few frames from the 31-piece collection. Eight women’s styles and nine men’s styles comprise the collection, in addition to seven optical frames each for men and women.
