rag & bone has Partnered with ECOAN to Plant a Tree for Every Purchase
BY JUDY DOWNS
From Nov. 22nd to Nov. 28th, rag & bone is teaming up with ECOAN (Associacion Ecosistemas Andinos) to aid reforestation efforts in Peru. The brand has committed to plant one tree for each transaction made in its UK and US retail stores and through the brand’s website, during that time period. rag & bone purposely picked this launch date to fall during Black Friday because of their historical uptick in sales.
“We are honored to partner with ECOAN to aid their reforestation efforts in Peru. Like other companies, we have an impact on the environment and I believe that it is important to put plans in place which will not only aid the recovery of our planet but also protect it for our children. Peru is a country which has given so much to us at rag & bone and we are thrilled to be launching a project which I hope will have a positive impact in the region.” – Marcus Wainwright, rag & bone CEO, Founder and Creative Director
rag & bone uses a wide range of Peruvian Pima Cotton products in its collections. This cotton is considered to be one of the finest in the world and has excellent durability, softness, and luster.
