The Impression’s Ongoing Series Spotlighting Fashion’s Leading Creative Agencies

Project that Impressed Us
With a label named Public School, the creative direction can easily veer off course, like the ramblings of an ancient history professor. Fortunately for designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne of the New York-based cutting-edge label, Simmonds ltd. crafted several on point campaigns, marrying downtown edge with fashion intellectualism. The Spring 2015 campaign lensed by Gregory Harris literally takes the brand to the higher equation, as models behind glass boards write complex theorems with black pen strokes. The campaign’s video gives the viewers the idea that those that attend Public School can compete with any luxury institution.
