STUART WEITZMAN swings into the holiday season with GIGI HADID and JAMES FRANCO for their latest film featuring the new Gigi Boot

Stuart Weitzman has teamed up with James Franco for their film, #DOITRIGHT, featuring Gigi Hadid, just in time for the upcoming holiday season.

The film, directed by James Franco at Brooklyn’s iconic Gleason’s Gym, features a sprite Hadid ducking and jabbing while punching around the boxing ring, dominating every opponent, and making her “the champ”. She of course does all of this while sporting the Gigi Boot. The global campaign is designed to capture a powerful female protagonist and is lensed in sepia tone with dramatic lens flares to highlight our golden hair heroine. The brilliant energy and pace of the short film raises female empowerment and is a smart choice of theme particularly in light of the pending election. The hashtag ties together girl power and Gigi being portrayed as “the champ”, overcoming any obstacle that comes here way, which again is well timed.

Also well timed is the concept to promote a key item for the holiday season, which the piece does quite well in the hands of CMO Susan Duffy and director James Franco. Together the duo combine for a solid one-two punch.

The Gigi Boot is a hiker-inspired high heel combat bootie co-designed by the popular supermodel, showing her fashion-forward flair. It possesses bold prints with duo-toned laces made to wrap around the ankle and is finished with a detailed collar. The bootie comes in three different materials: soft croco-calf leather and two shiny, eye-appealing metallics in silver and copper, perfect for bringing in the new year.

The Gigi Boot is everything and more, highlighting Stuart Weitzman’s partnership with Pencils of Promise, pledging to build three schools: one in Ghana, Guatemala, and Laos. Focusing on creating a better education program for kids within the rural regions of developing nations.

This shoe will be available exclusively at Stuart Weitzman retail locations and global websites, making it just in time for holiday shopping. Gigi and Stuart Weitzman definitely did it right, creating a boot that’s made for walking and then some.
