Dior builds fashion’s most unique of show stages

Dior’s Creative Director, Raf Simons, went out on top. At least as far as show staging goes as the team at Dior built a small mountain and the most unique of monumental structures ever designed to house a fashion show.
Once again the house took over the Louvre’s Cour Carree, but rather than an ode to Cubism like their last buildout, the house went the opposite direction with an natural mound covered in lilacs. However inside the hobbit like structure was a juxtaposed clean and modern interior which felt straight out of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, complete with the most robotic of lighting cranes.
It was quite the venue and with a little help from time-lapse films, the house shows off how they helped the creative director literally go out on top.
