The Little Mod Dress
The 70s still reign this season, but designers paid homage to London in the swinging 60s with colorblocked mini dresses. Longer lengths (grazing just above the knee) helped the frocks look modern.
Also popular at Jason Wu and Altuzarra in New York City, London designers topped classic coats with fur and faux fur. While NYC’s iterations were a bit more subdued, London’s designers played with bright plaid and offbeat color combinations.
Spotted on simple, straightforward silhouettes, upholstery prints added color and texture to the runways.
