Store Scout – Tory Burch Regent Street, London

BY IVANNIA MORTON

Tory Burch is expanding their footprint in Europe by opening the new Regent Street boutique. The brand is no stranger to the area, with their flagship on New Bond Street and an accessory-only shop at Westfield.

The exterior has a Georgian-style aesthetic, coupled with ground-floor windows that open up the space with natural light. Upon entering the store, you’re greeted with travertine floors and oak panel walls. It’s both clean and modern, yet gives a nod to the brand’s classic identity. From the Moroccan armoire inlaid with mother of pearl, to the detailed fretwork and gold-leaf chandelier, the details are consistent.

On the second floor, you’re greeted with leopard print carpet and a host of diverse furnishings. Between brass shelving and cane tables, there is no doubt that this space was well thought out. An interesting detail are the lamps, crafted from antique blue-and-white vases. Also notable are the mocha-striped drapes and bamboo blinds, leading you to a beautiful view of the neighborhood.

The Regent Street Boutique will include the entire Tory Burch collection, ranging from handbags, ready-to-wear, and all the way to home. In celebration of the opening, the store will exclusively carry the chic Jacqueline bag, which comes in three distinct finishes; natural vachetta, ivory patent leather, and a colorful floral print, which pays homage to the inspiration behind the Spring 2017 collection.
