It’s official, Vogue thinks big. Vogue US, Vogue Japan and Vogue Korea all featured groups of models on their September issues and in celebration of Vogue Italia’s 50th anniversary, the publication gathered 50 models for Steven Meisel to toast to their longevity. From icons to angels, the issue features a bevy of supermodels is subtle sepia tones and tops this seasons dramatic covers. Although a few models were noticably absence, including Gisele Bündchen and Cara Delevingne undoubtedly due to scheduling conflicts, the result is still a breathtaking collection of sublime portraits.
The real hero, outside of Steven himself, is the production team including Steven Dam from Art & Commerce. The Impressionist tips his hat to the all engaged in bringing these talents to the party plus assuring nothing was leaked. But we must warn you, if you continue to behave like this, don’t blame us when the Special Ops or the Pentagon comes calling.
In the meantime, we highly recommend a brisk dash out to get this issue before the long weekend.
