It would appear that ‘all work, and no play’ is not a philosophy that Alexander Wang, Ferdinando Verdure, and Brianna Capozzi adhere too; as the trio looks like they had nothing but fun with their latest work inspired campaign for the second drop of adidas Originals by Alexander Wang.
Lensed playfully by Brianna Capozzi, the collection available on May 19th, drew inspiration from workwear. But rather than make it all stuff shirts or water-cool casual, the crew took the adidas Originals by Alexander Wang to the edge. With models cavorting in piles of photocopies, tangled in plastic window blinds, and slacking atop office furniture, none of these employees looks as though they are jockeying for Employee of the Month. They are however having a great time.
Creative Director Ferdinando Verdure understands the value of disruption and once again does what is unexpected with an office themed collection. And while The Impression won’t look to this crew to manage the books, we certainly would put them in charge of all corporate retreats.
