The sisters behind AGL are all about girl power, which is evident in the house’s latest Fall 2018 ad campaign.
Photographed by Mert Alas and Markus Piggot, model Selah Marley stands proudly with her feet planted, her gaze straight at the camera, and her head squarely on her shoulders, eluding a type of warrior spirit that resonates with the three sisters who run AGL.
Sisters Sara, Vera, and Marianna Giusti, granddaughters of AGL’s founder Piero Giusti, are the only sisters in Italy to run a historic footwear company with products entirely made in Italy and in-house.
“With no room for compromise, [the sisters’] clear intent it to establish themselves with pride in these continuously evolving times,” said a press release.
And what better way to capture this sense of pride and girl power than to feature Marley, a singer and activist who, like the sisters, was born into creativity and is bringing her valuable family legacy into the modern world.
