Altuzarra Launches Etsy Collaborative Home Collection
Designer Joseph Altuzarra is taking his passion for home design to a new level with an innovative, limited-edition program done in collaboration with a handful of Etsy artisans on sale now on Etsy.
The exclusive partnership between Altuzarra and Etsy celebrates the creative’s passion for handmade quality goods with personal touches, brought to life through eight talented Etsy makers from around the world. The collection is an opportunity to showcase the inspiring world of Altuzarra through the lens of the Etsy community, of which Joseph is an active member.
I have always loved discovering artisans on Etsy, and I am so excited to have had the opportunity to collaborate with some of my favorite Etsy makers from around the world on this special project, which highlights each maker’s unique talent and craft.
– Joseph Altuzarra
The curated home décor collection includes pillows, dog beds, pottery, and more and is shopable now at www.etsy.com/altuzarra .
“I love nothing more than to be home with my family and friends, so designing for the home felt like something that connected with how I live,” explained Joseph Altuzarra. “The idea of being surrounded by objects and furnishings that bring you peace, joy, and happiness, is so important. I wanted to create a collection that would bring people a sense of comfort and joy. The collection showcases the world of Altuzarra, and speaks to my love of craftsmanship and of the handmade”
Altuzarra and Etsy designed this collection with sustainability in mind. A handful of the products were created with excess materials from previous Altuzarra collections, which keeps with Etsy’s values as the first major online shopping destination to offset 100% of carbon emissions from shipping. Like all purchases on Etsy, all emissions generated from shipping items from this collection will be balanced by creating a positive environmental impact.
The move is a wise one from sustainability to expanding the designer label into new markets, especially given how stay-at-home has recently taken on a whole new meaning and Esty’s audience numbers are up as a by-product. Overall the collection has legs and several pieces will likely find themselves here at The Impression’s office, to make a chich home for some of our four-legged friends.
