When looking at Arthur Arbesser, the company’s creative persona comes as no surprise—the word “art” itself is literally in the name! In the Fall 2019 ad campaign, creative director Tommaso Gardner, with photographers Driu Crilly & Tiago Marte, incorporates the striking power of a label as it emits inclusion to an already stunning collection.
Working with a strikingly light background, Tommaso Gardner is still able to make the Arthur Abessar label prominent. Rarely does the striking aspects of a label actually contribute to the brand’s advertisement, but here we see a campaign that intertwines background and foreground. Gardner grasps the embodiment of the label similarly to the embracement models share between themselves. The similar colorings shared between the words and backdrop metaphorically put both the clothes and the brand into the spotlight simultaneously. This artistic touch is unique and original as it grasps identity and cohesiveness together as one.
The art behind the Arthur Arbesser fall campaign truly incorporates the balanced harmony between clothes to label, clothes to human, and human to human.
