Antoine Arnault Appointed LVMH Head of Communications and Image Louis Vuitton-Moet-Hennessy has promoted Antoine Arnault to Head of Communications and Image. Arnault originally joined the luxury conglomerate as a Board Member in 2006, most recently acting as a Communications Advisor. Aside from these responsibilities, Arnault has served as CEO of LVMH subsidiary, Berluti, since 2011. Prior to that, he was Communications Director at the Louis Vuitton label. As Arnault takes on this new additional role with LVMH, he will continue to act as CEO of Berluti.
Richemont Taps Eric Vallat as Fashion and Accessories Brand Director Eric Vallat is joining Richemont to take on the newly created role of Fashion and Accessories Brand Director. In addition to this new position, Vallat will also be joining the label’s Board of Directors. Previously, Vallat was the Managing Director of Maison Rémy Martin, French cognac maker. Before that, he was President of couture fashion house, Bonpoint, and prior to that worked in leadership positions at J.M. Weston, Christian Dior Couture, and Louis Vuitton.
Ralph Lauren Appoints Linda Findley Kozlowski to Board of Directors Linda Findley Kozlowski has been selected to join the Board of Directors at Ralph Lauren. Currently, Kozlowski is the Chief Operating Officer at Etsy. Prior to that, she was COO at computer software company Evernote.
Jimmy Choo Names Simon Kemmett CFO, SVP of Business Operations Simon Kemmett has been tapped by Jimmy Choo to act as their new Chief Financial Officer, as well as their SVP of Business Operations. Kemmett joins from Ralph Lauren where he previously acted as both the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Financial Officer for the EMEA region. Prior to that, he was CFO of European Operations at Nike.
Hudson Bay Company Taps Stephen J. Gold as Chief Technology and Digital Operations Officer Stephen J. Gold is joining Hudson Bay Company as their new Chief Technology and Digital Operations Officer. Previously, Gold was Chief Information Officer at CVS Health. Alongside these responsibilities, he is also CEO of his namesake marketing firm, Stephen J. Gold Advisors.
Alice Carli Joins L’Autre Chose as CEO Footwear label L’Autre Chose has tapped Alice Carli to be Chief Executive Officer. Carli joins from Peuterey where she was Head of Global Marketing and Business Development. Before that, she was Global Strategic Marketing Executive at Furla.
Bonnie Takhar Departs Charlotte Olympia as President and CEO President and CEO of Charlotte Olympia, Bonnie Takhar, is stepping down from the position after 7 years at the company. Previously, Takhar was President and CEO of Halston. Prior to that, she was Chief Commercial and Merchandising Officer at Jimmy Choo.
Bethany Freund, previously PR Manager at Diane von Furstenberg, has left the firm.
Condé Nast Adds Edward Enninful to Board of Directors Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue, Edward Enninful, has been named to parent company Condé Nast’s Board of Directors. Enninful stepped up as British Vogue Editor in August of 2017. Prior to that, he was Creative Director and Fashion Director of W Magazine.
Kim Peiffer Named DuJour’s Editor-in-Chief Luxury lifestyle magazine DuJour has found their new Editor-in-Chief in Kim Peiffer. Previously, Peiffer was Executive Editor of Digital Content at InStyle. Prior to that, she worked in editorial positions at HuffPost and People Magazine.
Mia Solkin, previously Market Director at V magazine, is now Fashion Director at Paper.
Matt Murray, previously Deputy Editor at the Wall Street Journal, is now Editor-in-Chief at the firm.
