Franco Penè Departs Onward Luxury Group as President
President of Onward Luxury Group Franco Penè is stepping down from his position. However, Penè will remain onboard as the Group’s Honorary Chairman for their European Operations. Onward Luxury Group’s subsidaries include Michael Kors, Jil Sander, and Marc JacobsPenè will be succeeded by Takehiro Shiraishi.

Takehiro Shiraishi Named Onward Luxury Group President
Onward Luxury Group has tapped Takehiro Shiraishi as President, succeeding Franco Penè in the position. Previously, Shiraishi led the European Operations for the brand.

Amanda Hill

Harrods Names Amanda Hill Chief Marketing and Customer Officer
Harrods has appointed Amanda Hill Chief Marketing and Customer officer. In the newly created role, Hill will report to Michael Ward, managing director of Harrods. Hill joins the retailer from A&E Networks in New York where she worked as a chief marketing officer of the network in the U.S. and globally.

Sarah Myler is now Communications Director at Harrods.

Sandra Truesdale is now Head of Digital Marketing at Harrods.

Jodie Blackbrough is now Head of Online Content at Harrods.

Alexander Wells-Greco, previously Head of Visual Merchandising at Harrods, is now Creative Visual Director at the firm.

Felipe Oliveira Baptista

Felipe Oliveira Baptista Steps Down From Lacoste as Creative Director
Creative Director of Lacoste, Felipe Oliveira Baptista, is exiting the company after 8 years at the creative helm. Previously, Baptista lead his namesake label, which he founded in 2003. Prior to this, he he worked at Max Mara and Cerruti. Lacoste’s upcoming spring 2019 collection will be designed by an in-house team.

Nike Promotes Amy Montage to VP, General Manager
Amy Montage has been named VP and General Manager of Nike’s Global Categories. Montage first joined the company 13 years ago and has served multiple leadership positions, most recently acting as VP and General Manager of Global Nike, Women’s.

Jean-Jacques Van OostenJ Departs Richemont as CTO
Richemont’s Chief Technology Officer Jean-Jacques Van Oosten is stepping down from the company. Previously, Van Oosten served as a Chief Information Officer at Unilever, EDS, Kingfisher, Tesco, and Travis Perkins.

Uniqlo Names Takahiro Kinoshita Head of Creative Communications Strategy
Takahiro Kinoshita has been tapped to oversee Uniqlo’s creative communications strategy. Kinoshita joins from Japanese fashion and culture magazine Popeye, where he served as Editor-in-Chief since 2012.

NYDJ Appoints Jennifer Adams as Financial and Operating Officer
Jennifer Adams had been tapped as the COO for NYDJ. Previously, Adams was Chief Financial Officer and Operations Leader at The Collected Group for 5 years. Prior to that she served as CFO at JanSport and Seven For All Mankind brands under the VF Corporation.  

Jarrett Olivo, previously Sr. Manager Global Marketing and Media at Tom Ford, is now Global Marketing Director at L’Objet.


Sarah Harris

Sarah Harris Named British Vogue Deputy Editor
British Vogue has promoted Sarah Harris to the position of Deputy Editor. Harris first joined British Vogue in 2003, previously serving as Fashion Features Editor. Prior to that, she was in editorial at Women’s Wear Daily in London. In her new position, Harris will be reporting to Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue, Edward Enninful.

Harper’s Bazaar US Names Amy Synnott Executive Editor
Amy Synnott has been tapped by Harper’s Bazaar US to head up the publication as Executive Editor. She has been serving in the position on an interim basis since December. Synnott joins from InStyle where she was for 16 years, most recently serving as Executive Editor. During her time at InStyle she launched The Beautiful Edit, an online beauty and fashion site.

Jessica Matlin

Harper’s Bazaar US Taps Jessica Matlin as Beauty Director
Jessica Matlin has been named Beauty Director of Harper’s Bazaar US. Matlin joins from Teen Vogue where she was Beauty and Health Director. Prior to Teen Vogue, Matlin was Deputy Beauty Director at Cosmopolitan. Matlin’s experience at other publications include Allure, W, and O, The Oprah Magazine. Aside from her editorial experience, Matlin is also co-host of the podcast she founded, Fat Mascara.

Lesley Thompson, previously PR Director at Louis Vuitton Americas, has left the firm to start an independent consulting firm.

Charlotte Ekberg, previously US PR Coordinator at Levi’s, is now Global PR Coordinator at the firm.

HL Group Names Sunny Jenkins Head of LA Office
The HL Group has tapped Sunny Jenkins to lead their offices out in Los Angeles. This is not Jenkins first time working with HL Group, after having previously worked there from 2004 to 2011. Before returning to HL in 2016, Jenkins worked branding and PR at Nike Communications, Quicksilver, BCBG Max Azria, and BeachMint.

Nicole Tam Goldberg, previously Director at HL Group, has left the firm.

Phillip Nevins, previously Account Executive at M Booth, is now Account Manager at Purple PR.

Wayne Rogers, previously PR Manager at NEXT Management, has left the firm.
